Dear Watermark Church family,
“Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” Mark 12:29,30
Why on earth am I here? One reason you and I are on the earth is that God made us to worship Him! Worship is simply loving God with all you are, all the time. Here are a few thoughts on worship:
1. Worship is a response to God’s love. We love God because He first loved us.
2. At the heart of worship is offering myself to God. Have I given God every area of my life?
3. Worship is expressing my affection to God. God desires that I know Him and give Him my love and my life.
4. Worship is using my abilities for God.
The starting point for worship is falling in love with God. God is always waiting for you to look to Him and be devoted to Him. Join us this Sunday at 10:30AM as we look at what the Bible says about worship, and how God has planned you for His pleasure!
We welcome April Morgan, Daniel Germany, Ron McSwain and Paul Kauffung as new members of Watermark Church. They attended the New Members Orientation Class last Sunday. Also, Jameson and Julia Baumgartner became members last fall, and they attended the class on Sunday as well. Many thanks to Anna Gabbard for providing the lunch for everyone at the class!
