Dear Watermark Church family,
“Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.” Philippians 3:17
When you stop to think about the story of your journey of faith in God, it probably involves a few significant relationships who played a major role in helping you follow Jesus.
These are people who God brought into your life at just the right moment. They may have shown you God’s love in a time of need or modeled the character of Jesus in a way that grew your interest, or simply asked you a question about your faith that started you on a journey of commitment to Christ.
As we consider what it takes to grow in our faith, relationships with other believers are a vital component. Our journey of faith is meant to be lived out in community with others, having as a goal what the Apostle Paul stated above to “keep your eyes on those who live as we do.”
What significant relationships are you developing to help you grow in your faith Christ? Whose example of godliness are you following on a consistent basis? Also, are you available to invest in helping others grow in their faith? Your time, instruction, example and encouragement are vital elements in helping others blossom in their faith in Christ.
Join us at 10:30AM this Sunday at Watermark Church as we look at how God uses relationships among believers to help us grow in our faith.
